‘I lost 4 stone in eight months without cutting takeaways – here’s how I did it’

A woman has explained how she managed to lose 25kg in less than a year without even cutting out unhealthy foods like pizza and McDonald’s.

TikTok user butterflymegg said she lost 25kg over eight months without taking part in fad diets, saying she lost the weight the “lazy” way.

She said: “I’ve lost 59 pounds (25kg) in the span of eight months, so if you’re trying to lose weight, listen the f*** up.”

Megg continued: “I’ve been on a weight loss journey for 10 years – 10 f***ing years – and I’ve tried every diet under the sun.

“I’ve tried keto and Shakeology, and it doesn’t work.

“And now I’m eating a f***ing cheeseburger from McDonald’s for lunch, and nuggets with sweet and sour sauce and I’m still losing weight.”

Megg shed the pounds by strictly keeping to a calorie deficit, meaning she didn’t eat or drink more calories than her body could burn each day.

A calorie deficit helps people lose weight, either by exercising or eating less high-calorie foods, by making the body burn stored up energy.
